SP3+ Electro-myostimulation
The SP3+ is a dual modality device that performs two distinct functions; lipostimulation and myostimulation.
Lipostimulation creates a state of Lipolysis, by passing an electrical current through the fatty adipose tissue. This electrical stimulation puts the fat cells into an excited state and triggers the beta receptors to release fat from the cells into the extra cellular space. Then the machine's program can be changed to the myostimulation phase, where large muscles are fired via the deeper electrical currents. When these large muscle groups fire they require the use of ready energy - the released fat that has been created by the lipostimulation.
Myostimulation has been tried and tested by professional athletes wanting to train specific muscle groups without having to over train their bodies. It works just as effectively on overweight people or those who are injured and are unable to burn the excessive fat stores.
